Performing Arts Scholarships

A handful of full-tuition scholarships are available to students who exhibit excellence in the performing arts and will major in either music, theater, or dance. All students who audition for the Music (BA) degree or the Music Education (BS) degree will be considered for these highly competitive scholarships.

Arts Achievement Awards

A small number of scholarships ($10,000 per year) are available to students who exhibit excellence in either music or studio art, regardless of whether they will major in those areas. All students who audition for the Music (BA) degree or the Music Education (BS) degree will be considered for this scholarship. Students not intending to major in music can also be considered for this award by submitting the Arts Supplement (see our Application Procedures page).

Notification

Notification of scholarships are sent to successful applicants in March by the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Students who have been awarded a music scholarship will receive official notification by March 20. The Department of Music is not authorized to notify recipients.
