Zachary Myones is a third-year master’s student in Music Education with Teacher Licensure at Case Western Reserve University. Originally from Sugar Land, Texas, Zach was a member of the Dulles High School Viking Band and the 2009 and 2010 Texas All-State Bands on the bass clarinet. He completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Clarinet Performance from Case Western Reserve University in 2014, studying clarinet with Daniel Gilbert, voice with Mark Wanich, and harpsichord/organ with Peter Bennett. He has also studied under Chester Rowell (University of Houston, Houston Ballet) and Eric Jacobs (Seattle Symphony) in bass clarinet and clarinet. Zach performs with the Case Symphonic Winds on bass clarinet, the Case Jazz Band II on trumpet, the University Circle Wind Ensemble on clarinet and bass clarinet, and the University Circle Symphony Orchestra on clarinet. He also performs with various chamber orchestras and ensembles at the Cleveland Institute of Music on the clarinet and bass clarinet.
