A Northeast Ohio native, Ken is a musical artist and multimedia specialist.  He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Memphis and his Master of Music degree from Illinois State University, both in trumpet performance with concentrations in Music Technology. His dissertation researched the effects of modern recording technology on trumpet pedagogy.  He also holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Bowling Green State University in Music Education.  Beyond his formal education, he doubles on drum set, actively composes, and has performed internationally.

As a multimedia specialist, Ken works with a variety of professional video and audio production industry standard applications and hardware including video and audio recording, editing, sequencing, digital audio, MIDI, music notation, and much more. He is also an entrepreneur that owns and operates his own videography studio and has worked with members of the Cleveland Orchestra, Apollo’s Fire Cleveland Baroque Orchestra, ChamberFest Cleveland, The Singers’ Club of Cleveland, University Circle United Methodist Church and many more local organizations and artists.
