Kruse takes over The Music Settlement’s Orchestra for Adults

From The Music Settlement:  If you’ve got a string or wind instrument that you play sporadically, or not since a serious stint in high school or university, The Music Settlement’s Orchestra for Adults might be your ticket to a communal musical reawakening.

After launching last spring with five strings players, Dr. Nathan Kruse –“call me Nate”– has picked up the baton for the ensemble. It’s a great fit for his experience and research: as an associate professor of music education at Case Western Reserve University, his primary research area is adult music education, the aging process, and how music can play a part in improving the quality of life as we age.

Nate is particularly open about welcoming all adult musicians to this newly expanded ensemble.
