Music department presents inaugural student concerts at the Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at the Temple – Tifereth Israel

The renovation and restoration of Silver Hall, Phase I of the Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at the Temple – Tifereth Israel, is complete. The Department of Music will present two upcoming performances in this beautiful new space. 

Sunday, Oct. 11 at 3 PM, the CWRU Symphonic Winds (conducted by Ryan Scherber) and the CWRU Jazz Ensemble I and II  (directed by Paul Ferguson) will perform a selection of band and jazz works. 

Monday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 PM the Case/University Circle Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Kathleen Horvath) will perform. This concert features two concertos performed by concerto competition winners Meigen Yu and Ailin Yu, sisters who are both pianists majoring in music.

Shuttles (to and from the Maltz Performing Arts Center)
Oct 11 | Shuttles will begin at 12:00 pm and will run continuously.  
Oct 12 | Shuttles will begin at 5:30 pm and will run continuously.
