Maltz Performing Arts Center, Koch Hall (1855 Ansel Road Cleveland, OH)
A concert featuring CWRU’s 1830 piano (by Rod Regier, after Conrad Graf). The evening reproduces the experience of a Schubertiade, the intimate, drawing-room concerts at which Schubert premiered some of his most famous Lieder, and at which poetry was recited, against musical improvisation.
Punch to be served, according to Schubert’s own recipe.
Free and open to the public. Paid parking in the MPAC parking lot.
