CWRU Alum brings experience, excitement into music education

From freshmen to seniors, Chardon High School band director Melissa Lichtler seems to have a knack for unifying the pack, some of her longtime band members say.

Connor Prusha, a senior percussionist, said he’s had a blast over the past four years in marching band and he credits Lichtler largely for making is such a good time.

“It’s fun,” he said in a Nov. 2 interview at Chardon High School. “She really know what she’s doing. She’s got a great educational background and she’s been here a long time.
