Collegium Musicum presents The Roman de Fauvel

Posted on February 7, 2014

Case Collegium Musicum (Debra Nagy, director) presents: The Roman de Fauvel Sunday, Feb. 16, 3 p.m. in Harkness Chapel.  The Case Collegium Musicum’s medieval ensemble tells the story of the Roman de Fauvel, a famous beast fable from fourteenth-century France in which a donkey is elevated to the rank of King and corruption is endemic. The performance – like the original manuscript – will be a multimedia event including readings, evocative imagery and music. This event is free and open to the public.
