Bennett has been in France for the academic year 15/16, on leave from CWRU as a Le STUDIUM fellow at the Centre d’Etudes Supérieures de la Renaissance (CESR), Tours, where he has been working on a project that explores the intersection of music, politics and liturgy in Louis XIII’s ceremonial entrées .
